Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor Shaheer Sheikh broke hearts when he announced his marriage recently. He got married to his girlfriend Ruchikaa Kapoor in court. While pictures of Shaheer and Ruckikaa, from outside the court went viral on the internet, a few days later, the actor made an official announcement. He announced his marriage with Ruchikaa on November 27. As Shaheer’s wedding left many of his fans in shock, the TV actor now opened up about the crazy reactions he received from fans post the wedding.
Speaking with Pinkvilla.com, Shaheer Sheikh revealed that he got a few scary reactions from some fans out there. Talking about the same, the newlywed said, “So, it was a battle for a few days where I had to take the brunt of what I had done. I was not expecting that honestly. But I guess with time, they also realised or felt happy for me. I have no complaints.” The actor mentioned that he never expected the crazy fan reactions, but shared that with time they realised and felt happy for him.
The TV heartthrob continued, “Eventually, they realised that I am genuinely happy and also the relationship I share with the people who have seen my shows or appreciate my work, I think it’s quite deep because I rely on them so much, I depend on them so much and I interact with them as well whenever I can. So, that bond I guess they felt that this might break. But that’s not going to happen. I don’t see it happening. So, I guess we are in a safe zone now.”
Meanwhile, Shaheer shared that he understands why his fans reacted in a certain manner, and explained his thoughts on it, with proper reasoning. Work-wise, Shaheer is gearing up for his digital debut. He is featuring in the show Paurushpur that also stars Anu Kapoor, Shilpa Shinde, Sahil Salathia, Milind Soman in pivotal roles. The web series is scheduled to premiere on December 29, on the streaming platform.
