Newlywed Ssharad Malhotra-Ripci Bhatia’s First Picture Post-Wedding

Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki actor Ssharad Malhotra tied the knot with Delhi-based fashion designer, Ripci Bhatia in a grand ceremony in Mumbai on April 20. They first took the wedding vows in a Gurudwara and later had a Hindu wedding in the evening. And now, the first picture of the couple is out as Mr and Mrs.

The picture seems to be taken at their house and the newlyweds look so adorable together. While Ssharad is wearing a mustard check shirt, Ripci looks pretty in a pink and yellow Bandhni chunari. Check out the picture below:


Ssharad and Ripci have postponed their Honeymoon plans as the actor has a choc-o-block schedule and has resumed shoot. The couple celebrated a grand wedding with colourful Mehendi, Haldi and Sangeet ceremony. A week before his wedding, Ssharad had spoken to Hindustan Times about the moment when he felt Ripci is the one. The actor had said, “I don’t think there was one [particular] moment when I decided that I wanted to marry her. We were out on a drive and I thought I would take a chance. I asked her (about marrying me) and in case, she refused, I would just laugh it off. But she agreed. Later, we informed our families and they agreed too. So now here we are. Luckily, everything just fell into place.”


Ssharad also spoke about having a phobia towards marriage, “I have always been marriage-phobic and the world knows about it. I love commitment but the idea of marriage gave me cold feet. And now that I am getting married, everyone is shocked...I have seen a couple of bad marriages but most of the bad thoughts are in your head. I am going forward in this marriage with a positive vibe.”
