After dating for almost a decade, actress Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh got married. The couple tied the knot on July 9 in an intimate ceremony in Agra. Their wedding was an extremely private affair with just family members and close friends in attendance. The newly married couple has been sharing breathtaking photos from their dreamy nuptials on social media. On Wednesday, Rohatgi gave a glimpse of after-marriage rituals.
Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress dropped a couple of photos doing post-marriage rituals. In one picture, Payal and Sangram can be seen finding the ring from the bowl of milk and petals. Another shot showed the new bride doing some traditions. Other happy clicks featured the couple smiling and posing with their families. Sharing these stunning pictures, the Lock Upp contestant wrote, “The person I am becoming is going to shock a lot of people.” She also shared a video from her ‘pagphera’ ritual.
On her big day, Payal Rohatgi looked beautiful in a heavily embellished red bridal lehenga and opted for a minimal makeup look. The wrestler, on the other hand, complimented her in a white sherwani. Needless to say, both looked like a match made in heaven!
As per reports, the newlyweds will host a reception in Delhi followed by a grand party for their industry friends in Mumbai. Payal has invited all her friends from Lock Upp, including the host Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli. When asked if she has invited the Queen actress, Payal was quoted saying, “I will obviously make sure that I send the invite to her sister Rangoli and if she is in Delhi, would love to see her at the reception. She is kind and I am kind. It’s a good occasion and we should let bygones be bygones.”
For the unversed, Payal and Sangram first met on the reality show Survivor India and fell in love. And, the rest is history!
