Television heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh left his fans surprised after he revealed that he got married to Ruchikaa Kapoor, and that they had a court marriage owing to the Coronavirus pandemic. Later, Shaheer and Ruchikaa also posted pictures from their wedding. While their marriage was an intimate affair and was attended by just a handful of people, the actor plans on celebrating their wedding in June next year. Post their wedding, Shaheer and Ruchikaa are spending quality time together, and they recently shared a glimpse from their trip to Bhutan.
Since the last few days, Shaheer and Ruchikaa had been sharing glimpses from their trip. Shaheer shared a reel that showed his wife Ruchikaa enjoying the snow, leading fans to wonder if they headed to Kashmir. However, the actor has now shared a picture on his Instagram, and it shows him and Ruchikaa Kapoor sitting amid the hills. Going by the location tagged in the post, looks like Shaheer and Ruchikaa enjoyed a trek to Bhutan's legendary Tiger’s Nest monastery.

While speaking to SpotboyE, Shaheer Sheikh said that he always wanted a simple marriage, however his and Ruchikaa’s parents were against it. “I don't even like to celebrate my birthday, so you can imagine. I always wanted my marriage to be as simple as possible. Ruchikaa and my family were not up for a simple one and that's why we are planning something in June. Because of the pandemic, we also got an opportunity to keep it low key and have it like an intimate affair,” said Shaheer.
