Diwali party fever has just come to an end, but definitely not the hot brewing stories from the parties. But unfortunately one such incident was literally hot and scary too. TV actress Nia Sharma, who also attended one of the Diwali parties in town, had a life threatening mishap. The actress who looked gorgeous in a neck plunging sequin lehenga, caught fire by a diya. Though the mishap took place, the actress was fortunately saved from any kind of injury.
Sharing the image of the lehenga which caught fire on her social media handle, she narrated the incident and also shared how the multiple layers in the outfit saved her from any injury. Nia sharing the picture wrote, “The power of a diya. Caught fire in a second! I got saved by the layers in my outfit or some guards you and protects you.” Bash also saw the actress dancing with singer Guru Randhawa; besides him the party was attended by Mika Singh, Kapil Sharma and many more. Of late, the Ghar Jamai actress is in the seventh heaven all thanks to TV industry genius Ekta Kapoor. The actress has been the newest addition to Ekta’s backed Naagin series, Naagin which is in its fourth installment, has Nia on board.
Announcing the news couple of days ago, Ekta had welcomed the actress to the series. “Welcome to the world of Naagins Nia Sharma .” Nia too thanked and replied to Ekta, “And thank you a ‘million’ times for this opportunity @ektaravikapoor It’s an absolute honor and privilege.”
