Nia Shrama Reveals Katrina Kaif and Malaika Arora The Real Dancing Divas For Her, Shares How They Helped Her Ace ‘Phoonk Le’
Nia Sharma spoke about her experience from her latest dance number ‘Phoonk Le’ and shared how Katrina Kaif and Malaika Arora helped her.
Nia Sharma has been making it to the headlines for her latest music video ‘Phoonk Le’. The stunning diva is currently busy promoting her newly released music video, has been winning hearts from all across. She recently collaborated with Rickshaw drivers of Mumbai and performed the song in public. However, her strategy didn’t go well with netizens as they trolled her mercilessly and even called her, ‘Urfi Javed ki ammi.’
Nia spoke about her experience for the latest dance number and revealed that she has been a big fan of such item numbers. She also mentioned that she has always been in awe of Katrina Kaif and Malaika Arora who are the real dancing divas for her.
Elaborating about the intimate details about the song, Nia shared how she bagged this song and said, “When the makers came to me with an original song and not any remake and told me that they could have only imagined me and not anyone else for this I was very honoured. They really rested their faith in me. I have grown up watching Chaiyya Chaiyya. Katrina Kaif killing every song she does be it Sheila Ki Jawaani, Kamli, it's like she has the fire in her and if I got something similar why wouldn't I do that. I love going solo, these songs, I love all the lights and camera on me. I really gave my blood and sweat and I am glad seeing that it went well.”
During her interaction with BollywoodLife she also shared how Malaika helped her in acing this item number, “I did a lot of homework by watching Malaika Arora's Munni Badnam, Bipasha Basu's Beedi Jalai le, and when I saw them doing this onscreen I wondered will I ever be able to do this, will I be able to do this, you keep seeing Malaika Arora and look what she does, which is quite magic.”
Nia Sharma isn't afraid to make her admirers drool. She is a multi-talented actress who, in addition to acting, can sing and dance. Trolls are drawn to her dress choices on a regular basis, but she knows how to deal with them effectively.
