Nima Denzongpa Going Off-Air Soon? Surabhi Das Clears The Air, Says, ‘We Are Continuously Shooting, No Such News From Production House’
Colors TV’s daily soap ‘Nima Denzongpa’ featuring Surabhi Das in the lead role, premiered in August last year. The show managed to entertain audiences with its impressive storyline and surprising twists. However, there were speculations that the show is going off air soon and will be replaced by the new fantasy drama Pishachini, which will premiere on 8th August. Now, Surabhi has reacted to claims of her show going off air and set the record straight.

 In a recent interview with India Forums, the actress dismissed all such rumours and revealed that they all are shooting for Nima Denzongpa. Surabhi also mentioned that no such news from the channel or production house has been confirmed till now. She was quoted saying, “The show isn't going off air as far as I know. We are continuously shooting and there's not any news from channel or production house about the show going off air.”


It was also reported that actor Amar Upadhyay was approached to play a new lead in the show after the exit of Iqbal Khan. But his entry has been cancelled in the wake of the show going off-air. 

Talking about his exit, Iqbal, while speaking to Etimes TV, stated that his track has ended and this journey of six months was very beautiful and special for him. “Virat was a happy-go-lucky character and full of life. He was guy with traits that I don't possess in real life. The team was great and every time I went on the sets, it was like going to meet some great colleagues and not just shooting,” the Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai actor said.

As per the latest reports, Nima Denzongpa for now has got two months extension.
