Non-Payment Controversies: Udaan Actors Meera Deosthale And Vijayendra Kumeria To Get Their Last Installment After A Year- EXCLUSIVE
Many actors are speaking up to get their uncleared payments out. Amidst all this, comes a good news, as we hear Udaan actors Meera Deosthale and Vijayendra Kumeria's payments, which were stuck since a year, will be given to them soon
We are hearing a lot of news from the TV industry about actors and crews not being paid for their work since years. After Hamari Bahu Silk non-payment fiasco, just a while back, we told you how actor Abhinav Shukla has come ahead to express his opinion on the serious matter. He has also not recieved his payment for Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka since 2 years.
However, in the darkness we have come across a ray of light. We hear that Udaan actors- Meera Deosthale and Vijayendra Kumeria's last installment of payment has been due since a year. But now, a reliable source from the industry tells us that their payments are being cleared and that the actors will recieve the remuneration anytime soon.
A source close to them revealed, "They actually reached out to the producers of the show, and citing the current situation due to the pandemic, requested once again for their payments to be released. Thankfully, the producers could manage and are paying their dues soon."
We tried reaching out to Meera to get her take on the news but she remained unavailable for comment. We also dropped a message to Vijayendra, however, he too didn't respond.
On work front, Meera was last seen playing the protagonist on Colors TV show Vidya and Vijayendra Kumeria in Naagin 4 opposite Nia Sharma and Rashami Desai.
