Newly married couple Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s reception party in Raipur has been reportedly cancelled owing to COVID-19 protocol
Popular TV actress Ankita Lokhande and her longtime businessman beau Vicky Jain, who had been dating for over three years, tied the knot in a grand ceremony on December 14 in Mumbai. The couple’s glitzy wedding was attended by their families and close friends from the industry. After their dreamy nuptials, Ankita and Vicky also held a lavish reception and it was a star-studded affair with who’s who of the television industry in attendance. Since Vicky is based in Raipur, he also wanted to have a grand wedding reception in his native city.
But it seems like Covid-19 ruined his plans. According to the latest report in TOI, the newlyweds Ankita and Vicky’s reception party in Raipur has been cancelled owing to the COVID-19 protocol. The report added that in the wake of rising Coronavirus cases new guidelines have been issued and the couple wants to adhere to new COVID norms and protocols. Thus, they have called off their reception party. The newly-married couple will host the party sometime later.
On Thursday, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain made their first public appearance as husband and wife. They were spotted by paparazzi in the city and posed together for the cameras. The Pavitra Rishta actress looked drop-dead gorgeous in a royal blue 'bandhini' saree while Vicky looked dapper in a crisp shirt and pants with sunglasses. The marital glow on their faces was pretty much seen and the couple looked madly in love.
