Indian politician and a former television actress and producer Smriti Irani was not allowed to enter the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. As per reports the former actress and current politician was set to grace the show as a guest, but a misunderstanding, lead to the politician remaining out of the sets of the popular comedy TV show. The security guard on duty at the Kapil Sharma’s set was unaware of Smriti Irani gracing the show.
As reported in News18, the security guard on duty was puzzled why would a minister walk in on the sets minus any protection in terms of security or bouncers. Hence, after waiting for half an hour, Smriti Irani left the sets to board a flight as per her schedule. Kapil Sharma on learning this schooled the security guard for this blunder. He also apologized to her. Smriti who is turning an author with her book, Lal Sallaam, might have graced the show to promote her book. But this unfortunate misunderstanding fizzled out the plan.

Ekta Kapoor who introduced Smriti to the TV audience was all praise for her bestie for this new beginning in her life. The ace producer penned a long note on Instagram urging her follower to pre-order Smriti Irani’s book. Ekta also shared being excited and proud of Smriti.
Smriti Irani became a household name after she played Tulsi Virani in Ekta Kapoor produced show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
