Paras Chhabra DENIES Being Financially Dependent On Akanksha Puri; ‘Never Asked Her To Handle My Flat Or Bank Accounts’
Bigg Boss 13 contestant Paras Chhabra, who is now being seen on Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, has claimed that he was financially secure and not dependent on her ex-girlfriend Akanksha Puri, and is clueless about why she would claim that she was handling his flat and bank accounts
Bigg Boss 13 contestant Paras Chhabra and his growing closeness with Mahira Sharma on the reality show hadn’t gone down well with many, who thought it was unfair to his girlfriend outside- Akanksha Puri. However, Paras had mentioned on the show how they had been facing some issues, and announced his breakup on the show. Now, Paras is a part of yet another show Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, in which he will be looking for a marriage partner. Clearly, he has moved on from his ex-girlfriend Akanksha. Now, in a recent interview, he has addressed what went wrong.
While speaking to Bombay Times, Paras Chhabra said that his relationship was already in its final leg before he entered Bigg Boss house, and that they had been facing problems for the past few months. He said, “When I was entering the show I told Akanksha, we will discuss about these issues after the show is over. I don’t understand why she is claiming that she was sending my clothes and handling my flat and bank accounts? Akanksha knew that things are getting over between us and it was not because I had gotten a show that I was planning to break up with her.”
Paras Chhabra further clarified that he was financially secure and not dependent on Akanksha. He said, “I was financially secure and not dependent on her. I have never asked her to look after my flat or bank accounts or belongings. I came to know later that Akanksha was choosing my clothes and sending them. I was never requesting her. If she was my girlfriend then she did not have to go on record that she was doing all this for me. What was her reason to prove to others that she was doing things for me?”
Meanwhile, a promo of Mujhse Shaadi Karoge shows Paras Chhabra comparing Sanjjanaa Galrani to his ex-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri. He said that Sanjjanaa and Akanksha Puri are ditto same and said that her actions are different but mentally they just don’t connect.
