It is a known fact that during the initial days of Bigg Boss 13, Shehnaaz Gill was head over heels for Paras Chhabra. The Punjabi singer, in fact, even confessed her feelings to him; however, she backed out upon knowing that Paras was dating Akanksha Puri then. Well, sharing her two cents on the same, Akanksha Puri recently expressed her honest opinion on Shehnaaz Gill and revealed how she judged her in the beginning but started liking her eventually, especially after seeing her fearless love for Sidharth Shukla.

In a video that has emerged online, the actress could be seen talking about Shehnaaz Gill. Akanksha says how she was upset when Shehnaaz was behind her ex Paras Chhabra, but the day she backed off after seeing his tattoo, Akanksha started to respect her a lot. Akanksha said, “Mujhe Shehnaaz, dekhiye honestly bolna chahti hoon, as a girlfriend, shuru mein obviously thoda sa mujhe laga tha, thodisi narazgi thi unse. But ek point tha jahape woh chiz ko maine as an audience dekha. Unki initially kaafi zyada closeness thi (with Paras), maine thodasa views bana liye the unko lekar par maine unko khulke dekha hi nahi.”

She added how it takes a lot of guts to fearlessly love someone without getting the same in return and even being open about it. “Main honestly yeh chiz bol rahi hoon par ek week ke baad se maine jab unhe dekha, as Shehnaaz dekha, toh unhone mera dil jeet liya aur salute to her like guts chahiye yeh khulke kehne ke liye ki haan main baat kar rahi hoon use (Sidharth Shukla), main usse pyaar karti hoon. Jo unhone khulke bola hai, shayad main nahi kar sakti as a girl, so lots of respect for her, for this,” added Akanksha.

Akanksha continued, “Aur unhone ek aur baat kahi thi yaar ki 'maine jis din Paras ke haath mein woh tattoo dekha, main usi din piche hat gayi,' maine us chiz ko lekar bhi tweet kiya tha. Toh unhone mera bahut si jagah dil jeet liya and I am like, Yaar aisi ladkiyan kaha hoti hai? Jinme itna guts hote hai, mujhme nahi hai main khulke bol rahi hoon shayad main kisiko pyaar karu aur woh mujhe nahi kar raha hai toh main shayad nahi bol paungi, main back out kardungi. Par woh mein, itne bade platform tak pe unhone boldiya ki nahi main nahi choose karungi woh ladke ke saath galat karungi. So, I think that deserves a lot of respect.
