The confirmation has now come that actor-couple Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia have officially ended their two-year-long connection. Initially meeting on Bigg Boss 14, the pair separated five months ago due to compatibility issues, yet continued sharing an apartment. Recently, the Jawan actor moved out, leaving Pavitra as the sole occupant. Acknowledging the breakup, the Ishq Ki Dastaan actress shared with ETimes, "There is a shelf-life for everything, nothing is permanent. In relationships, too, there can be a shelf-life. Eijaz and I parted ways a few months ago, and I will always wish him well. I respect him a lot, but the relationship did not last.” When contacted by the entertainment portal, Eijaz expressed, “I hope Pavitra finds the love and success she deserves. The couple's love story began within the confines of the Bigg Boss 14 house. In May of the previous year, Eijaz shared his thoughts on marriage plans with Pavitra during an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, stating, “It is on the cards. Where is the time? Gathering the whole family from all over the world, taking time for them and us. I want it to be, if not such a grand affair, at least a celebration. She says, 'What’s the point, we're never gonna get time, let’s just get it done.' But I feel I want my family and close friends to be there. So we will find a medium. We will figure it out very soon.”
Back in December, the actress had told ETimes, "I really feel for my fans and I am connected with them. I really request everyone to be calm and composed and give us privacy. Please support me in whatever I am doing and support Eijaz also and let peace be there. Whatever happens, it happens for a reason. I am really keen and focused towards my career right now.
