Piyush Sahdev’s arrest on Friday sent shockwaves
across the TV world. The Beyhadh actor was arrested after a complaint was
filed against him at the Versova Police Station. Reports
suggest that he has been charged with rape under section 376.
SpotboyE.com got in touch with Mahima Makwana, who
starred with the actor in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and shared a great
rapport with him. She currently essays the lead role in Rishton Ka Chakravyuh.
A shocked Mahima said, “I can’t believe that it has happened. We haven’t been
in touch after Sapne... got over. However, since I don’t know the entire
picture, I cannot comment on the matter.

This morning, Piyush’s Beyhadh co-star, Kushal Tandon, came out in his support
and opined that no one should jump to conclusions until investigation is
complete. He told a leading daily, “This is a matter of somebody's life. His
career, reputation, family... everything is at stake. I feel this matter needs
to be investigated thoroughly. There are so many laws now made for the
protection of women and rightly so, but they should not be misused. From what I
hear, Piyush was living in with this woman for the last two months. This is not
some random person he suddenly met. Nobody knows what transpired between the
two. All I can say is that in any such case, we should wait for the police to
investigate and the courts to decide, rather than jumping to conclusions about
a person's character."
