Pooja Banerjee Truly Believes In 'Pyaar Dosti Hai'; Says, 'I Know My Husband Since Standard 4'- EXCLUSIVE
As Pooja Banerjee's web series, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai 3 is currently streaming, we got in touch with the actress to know what she thinks about complicated relationships, which is also the theme of the Ronit Roy, Gurdeep Kohli and Mona Singh starrer
Pooja Banerjee, who is currently playing the character of Nivedita Basu in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, is also part of web series, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai, where she is playing Baani. Currently, the third season of the web series is streaming and it is being applauded by the audience.
As the series this time is all about complicated relationships, we spoke to Pooja about her take on the same and what is that one thing which keeps any relationship going.
Pooja said, "If you are staying with a person under the same roof, there are many differences which are bound to happen. So, the only way to keep your relationship safe from everything is to have friendship as its base. Trust, love, attraction- all of these come secondary- if there is friendship between the couple they tend to share and understand things. Even if a person makes a mistake, the other one will be there to hear him/her out and not jump to any conclusion. In fact, the reason why most people are falling out of love nowadays is because they started looking for love desperately and forget to be friends from where they started. I truly believe in the concept of 'Pyaar Dosti Hai'- which we saw in Karan Johar's film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai."
Pooja, who tied the knot with Olympian swimmer Sandeep Sejwal, a few years back further added, "I personally feel that in my and Sandeep's case as well, there is so much of love only because we were good friends initially. I knew him since I was in class 4th. And we had the longest friendship after which we realised we can be life partners. You won't believe it but till date we haven't proposed to each other. Because we know in our case there is no need of confirmation, label or a tag. We have conquered each other."
Talking about the response she is receiving for the third season of Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai, Pooja said, "The whole world is praising it. We were trending and on a personal note as well, I am receiving such good comments- viewers are calling me just to know when the remaining episodes will get streamed and that shows how it has touched the audience's heart."
