And it's a boy! Puja Banerjee who rose to fame with Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, where she essayed the role of Goddess Parvati and her actor husband Kunal Verma, are beaming with joy and glowing as the couple has embraced parenthood! Yes, the couple has welcomed a baby boy today and the baby was born a few hours ago in a suburban nursing home, as reported by TOI. While talking about the same, the newly father Kunal told the portal, 'Puja and I are proud and extremely happy to share that we are parents of a lovely baby boy today. I was with Puja in the operation theatre, while she delivered our baby. Both Puja and the baby are doing fine and I am extremely thankful to God for his blessings.'
Earlier, when they announced that they were expecting, Puja was quoted saying to the same daily, “Yes, Kunal and I are excited about entering this new, beautiful phase in our lives. I am in a happy space now and have been enjoying my personal time. In fact, I have not stepped out of my apartment since April.” The couple even had plans to have a traditional wedding after the baby arrives. Puja said, "However, the pandemic changed everything and even my mother, who lives in Kolkata, could not attend our registered wedding. I am hoping to have a regular ceremony and do my pheras with Kunal after the baby arrives. Hopefully, my mother will also be able to attend it."
They haven't made any announcement on their respective social media handles but we are eagerly waiting for one. Meanwhile, we send across heartily congratulations to the couple who have become proud parents to a boy today.
