Puja Banerjee Quits Star Bharat's Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki; Tejasswi Prakash, Rubina Dilaik Get SOS Calls To Take Over
Puja Bannerjee and the makers of Jag Jaanani Vaishno Devi have mutually decided to part ways. The actress won't be playing the lead role on the show anymore
TV actress Puja Banerjee who was seen playing the title role of Vaishno Devi on Star Bharat's mythological show Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishno Devi — Kahani Mata Rani Ki will not be seen on the show anymore. As the actress has decided to bid an adieu to the show. A source close to the show revealed to SpotboyE.com that Puja is not willing to continue the show post lockdown. The actress wants to give time to her marriage and hence the production has also agreed to the parting of ways.
The decision has been taken mutually. Also calls are being made to other TV actress to replace her. As of now, Tejasswi Prakash, Rubina Dilaik, Meera Deosthale and Niyati Fatnani have received calls from the makers.
The show which went on-air last year in September revolves around Vaishno Devi's evolving journey from being the princess of Sripuram, Vaishnavi, to the Mother of the Universe, Goddess Vaishno Devi. We contacted Puja to confirm the news and She said, "Yes I have quit the show and it is for personal reasons. I am taking a break from work for some time post marriage".
The popular actress surprised everyone with news of her marriage to Kunal Verma on March 8.
