The preparations for the wedding are in full swing. And on Wednesday, Disha and Rahul looked excited and happy in pictures from their Mehendi ceremony. Most of RKV’s fans remember the day he proposed to Disha on national television. Ahead of the Dishul Wedding, here’s looking back at the day when the singer popped the question to his ladylove during his Bigg Boss 14 stint.
During his stint on the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14, Rahul Vaidya expressed his love to Disha Parmar and asked her to marry him. While being locked up inside the Bigg Boss 14 house, the singer realised his feelings for Disha. On Parmar’s birthday last year, Rahul went down on one knee and popped the question. He sought the help of fellow housemates Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin and others to plan a surprise. On November 11 -- Disha's birthday, Rahul grabbed a white shirt and wrote, “Will You Marry Me?” on it. The singer had also written “HBD Disha” and asked the actress to marry him.
While Rahul’s proposal to Disha was one of the biggest highlights of his BB 14 journey, after popping the question, the singer waited for a reply from the actress. After a long wait, finally on Valentine’s Day 2021, Disha made an entry to the house. She replied to Rahul’s proposal via a glass wall. Parmar said “Yes” to the singer. And since then, after Bigg Boss 14, the couple have been clicked hanging out together.
Just recently, about a week ago, Rahul Vaidya had shared a picture of Disha holding the white shirt he used to propose to her. Sharing a string of pictures of the actress, the singer wrote, “A T shirt I can never ever forget .. had proposed to my girl using this. Gonna frame it! @dishaparmar,” to which Disha Parmar replied, “Am just soo lucky to have gotten you! @rahulvaidyarkv.” Rahul mentioned he is going to frame the shirt.
