Rakhi Sawant announces separation from her husband Ritesh
Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant has called it quits with her husband Ritesh. The actress took to her Instagram handle to announce their separation and penned a lengthy note saying that they both have decided to part ways. In her post, Rakhi mentioned that after Bigg Boss 15 a lot has happened and she was unaware of certain things. She and Ritesh tried to sort out their differences and tried to make things work but she thinks it is best to move on amicably. Rakhi and Ritesh’s sudden split has left everyone shocked.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Sawant penned a note that read, “Dear fans and well-wishers, Just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Bigg Bos show a lot has happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it’s best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately. Im really sad and heartbroken that this had to happen before Valentine’s Day but the decision had to be made.”
She added, “I wish Ritesh the best in life for me at this stage in life I have to focus on my work and my life and keep myself happy and healthy. Thank you for understanding and supporting me always!.”
For the unversed, Rakhi had introduced Ritesh as her husband on the reality show Bigg Boss 15. Both participated together in the Salman Khan-hosted show and revealed their love story to the world. Earlier while speaking to ETimes, Rakhi had hinted that all is not well in her marriage paradise as she said they are "friends now and that certain legal matters have to be resolved yet."
