Rakshanda Khan Reveals She Was Asked To Get A Nose Job Done
Rakshanda Khan revealed she was about to get one done, but later chose to the otherwise
Actor Rakshanda Khan, who shot to fame with Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, was seen in series of TV shows, playing some grey roles. As reported in Times of India, the actress revealed she was once asked to fix her nose via plastic surgery. The actress revealed the advice came from some of the photographers, the actress even gave a thought to it, but chose otherwise. The actress shared her nose did keep her bothered; it was when she was two years old, she fell down and that had disturbed the balance of her nose.
The actor said, “My nose has bothered me for years from the time I started modelling. I had a fall when I was two and that disturbed the balance of my nose. When I was in my 20s, some photographers had told me, ‘ Ek kaam karo nose ki surgery karva lo bada achha career hoga (get a nose surgery done, you will have a successful career.” The actress was firmed to get it done, but then she realized the hassle post the surgery is no less and hence arrived at the conclusion of dropping the idea.
She added, “I considered it very strongly, but I realised that it would be too much of a trouble to go through. Kaun surgery karvaayega, do hafte plastic laga kar naak par baithega (who will undergo a surgery, sit for two weeks with plastic on the nose). It was easier for me to start liking my nose! Eventually, I came to a point where I made peace with it.”
A believer in ageing gracefully, she shared being that she happy with the way she looks. She added, “Fairness creams, anti-ageing creams, lifting creams and fillers, theek hai bhai lekin harr cheez agar aap ek limit mein karte ho (but everything should be in limit).”
As reported in Hindustan Times, the actress feels she is fortunate enough to have got a wide range of roles in her career. She feels it also depends on one's look, and the age he or she is, they will be offered a particular kind of role.
“It depends on the way you look at age. It can be as daunting, fun, depressing or interesting or where you are in life, mentally. With age, a lot of things change in life. If you are a TV actor in your 40s, you will be offered a particular kind of role. I am blessed that I got chance to experiment with many roles including drama and supernatural,” said Rakshanda.
Currently, the actress is playing a negative role in the TV show, Tere Bina Jiya Jaye Na.
