This morning came the news of one of the housemates Rashami Desai getting all uncomfortable sharing the bed with fellow housemate Siddharth Shukla. On that note let’s take a look at the actress’ professional and personal life. Rashami Desai’s claim to fame was the fiction TV show on the same GEC, Uttaran. Though the actress had appeared in loads of Bhojpuri films and Hindi TV shows, she was popularly known among the TV audience for playing Tapasya Rathore. Besides fiction TV show, she was also seen in non-fiction shows such as Comedy Nights Live, Kitchen Champion 5, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, Nach Baliye 7, Khatra Khatra Khatra along with few Bollywood movies.
Rashami Desai Name And Age: The actress was born as Divya Desai on February 13, 1986. She is 33-years-old. Rashmi was born in a Gujarati family to Ajay Desai and Rasila Ajay Desai. She completed her schooling from Ulubari High School and J B Khot High School before she set her foot in the entertainment industry. She got her first acting assignment at the age of 18 years when she was pursuing her diploma degree.
Rashami Desai Relationships: She was married to her co-star of the television show Uttaran, Nandish Sandhu, in the year 2012. However, the couple parted ways in 2015, due to personal differences which also headlined in media when they revealed on one of the reality shows, where they appeared together. The actress has accused Nandish of being in an extra-marital affair as well. After parting ways with husband Nandish Sandhu she was said to be romantically involved with her co-star Laksh Lalwani of her show Adhuri Kahani Hamari. The two grew closer, however, they never came out in open about their rumoured relationship. Laksh is ten years younger to Rashami. She is now rumoured to be dating Arhaan Khan.
Rashami Desai Controversies: The actress has revealed in the past of being in an abusive relationship with Nandish. There were also speculations of the actress marrying her rumoured boyfriend Arhaan Khan on the show. But later the actress put all the rumours to rest with a complete denial to the news. Apart from this the actress who had participated in Nach Baliye with her ex-husband Nandish, landed in controversy when she faked of having a twisted ankle and had reportedly flown to LA to fulfil her work commitment. According to reports in several publications, the actress had later confessed of being in a deal with the show organisers before she signed on the dotted line for Nach Baliye and hence fulfilled the same.
