After news of Devoleena Bhattacharjee's cook testing positive for COVID-19 came in this morning, we spoke to actress' bestfriend Rashami Desai to know if Devoleena is doing okay. Here's what Rashami told us
This morning we woke up to the news of Devoleena Bhattacharjee going in self-quarantine as the actress' cook has tested positive for COVID-19. The househelp has been put up at an isolation centre.
We tried contacting Devoleena but could not reach her, which in turn made us call her close friend, Rashami Desai to check if the Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress is doing fine.
"Yes, she is alright. There is nothing to worry about. Devoleena has been self-quarantined and she cannot move out from her house. It will not be easy, but her neighbours and building officials are helpful," said Rashami.
Devoleena's cook is an extremely trustworthy help the actress has had since years. He used to stay with the her but buzz is, he cooked at a few other houses in the building too.
The actress resides in Goregaon East with her mother and brother. However, they are in Assam right now. The actress' family could not travel back as the lockdown was announced while they were there.
We stand by Devoleena in her tough time and hope the cook recovers soon.
