Ravi Dubey On His Fall Out With Nia Sharma In The Past: ‘We Handled That Grey Area In Our Relationship With Grace And Professionalism’
Ravi Dubey has opened up about his old and infamous fall out with Nia Sharma on the sets of their popular show ‘Jamai Raja’. In a recent interview, the actor reflected on his fight with Nia and said they both handled that grey area in their relationship with a lot of grace and professionalism. Ravi also revealed how he and Nia never let their differences affect their professional lives. Back then, both the actors could not even see eye-to-eye and were not on talking terms for a couple of months.

Ravi and Nia have since sorted out their differences and are close friends now. While speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Ravi said, “It’s just by the virtue of working together for all these years. Both me and Nia, we handled that grey area in our relationship with a lot of grace and professionalism. It never showed on screen that we weren’t necessarily talking to each other.”

Revealing the reason behind their fight, Ravi Dubey explained, “I think it was largely to do with how we would approach work. I am highly rehearsal-obsessed but Nia is a very spontaneous actor, which works in her favour beautifully. I don’t know how that friction started, I don’t have a clear memory of it, but I am guessing this would be the reason.”

The actor also mentioned that Nia Sharma is now one of the people he is ‘fondest’ of in the television fraternity. He also praised the actress for being true to herself. “But now, Nia is the one person in the industry that I am the fondest of and I think she has this candid, uninhibited nature, which is very rare. People mostly project something which is a more likeable version of themselves, Nia ke baare mein sabse achchi baat jo hai woh hai ki (Nia’s best quality is that) she doesn’t care,” he added.

Ravi and Nia also starred in the second season of Jamai 2.0, a digital spin-off of their show, which was released earlier this year on Zee5. Also Read: Jamai Raja 2.0: Nia Sharma Opens Up About Her Infamous 2013 Fallout With Co-star Ravi Dubey For Which The Channel Had To Intervene
