Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma have a huge fan-base because of their hit television show Jamai Raja. The actors have won many hearts with their performances and fans die to see their on-screen chemistry. After Jamai Raja, the actors have once again paired up for a web show. The series stars Nia Sharma and Ravi Dubey in pivotal roles and the chemistry of the duo will be portrayed on a much larger scale then the television show they both were a part of in the past. As Ravi and Nia were asked to shoot an intimate scene, Ravi became uncomfortable with the situation and almost quit.
According to a report in HT Entertainment, a source revealed that actor Ravi Dubey and his co-actor Nia Sharma had to shoot for a kissing scene. As, Ravi had never done an intimate scene before, he got uncomfortable. The actor was in complete denial and the team of the web show had to reach out to Ravi’s wife Sargun Mehta to convince him. When Ravi Dubey was confronted about this incident that took place on the sets, the actor revealed that in 15 years of his entire career in the industry, he never kissed a co-actor on screen and it was a huge task for him. The actor mentioned how he was very nervous the day Nia and he shot for it. Talking about wife Sargun Mehta, Ravi also revealed how in real life she never shies away from anything and how she is supportive of him doing the scenes. The actor then added about informing his mother as well as his mother-in-law about the kissing scene in the upcoming trailer of the show.
Talking about his co-actor Nia Sharma, Ravi gave full credits to the actress as she made him comfortable. He added, “Her work ethic and the way she went ahead with it was commendable.” After watching the trailer of the web series, Ravi said he realized it doesn’t make anyone uncomfortable, but adds into the story.
According to Ravi, the web show has several intimate scenes and feels they were the demand of the story. The actor added by saying that if the scenes are just for the sake of it, it’s a no-no for him. Ravi ended the conversation by mentioning how glad he is of shedding his inhibitions.
