Rohan Mehra is excited about his digital debut with ALTBalaji's youth-based show Class Of 2020. SpotboyE.com was the first to tell you that Vikas Gupta is bringing back the second season of Class Of 2017. The new season will see Rohan Mehra and Chetna Pande as main leads. Well, the actor who gained immense popularity as Naksh in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain will be seen in a totally different avatar in the series.

He will play a school boy who stays in a chawl and a complete gully boy who enjoys all bad habits, but at the same time is good at heart. All these qualities attract girls towards him. The shoot for the season is on in full swing and we have come across an exclusive picture from the sets where we can see Rohan smoking a cigarette.

We contacted the actor to know more about it, and he told us, "I have never smoked in my entire life but for the first time I tried my hands at it for my character as he smokes in the show. I remember when the creative team was briefing me about it I was little skeptical that how would I do it being a non-smoker, but in no time I said yes as it’s my job. Now I have already shot for the scene and the picture you are discussing is from that".

Rohan also mentioned, "Smoking is something that I will never do in my life and I have promised this to myself. Honestly I don't appreciate this at all and my parents have also taught me not to smoke. So before I shot the sequence I called up my dad and said that I have been asked to give a smoking scene. As he thoroughly understands my profession he supported me saying it is just a scene do it, but yes never make it a habit in real life. Also, to make it look real, I have been observing people closely who smoke around me and also discussed that how should I do it?"



Rohan Mehra who started his career with Gumraah in 2012 has many big shows to his name. He acted in Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar starrer Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and turned son of Hina Khan (Akshara) in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He also participated in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 10. Rohan who has also done Bollywood films like Sixteen and Uvaa, for the first time will be seen in a web series. It will be interesting to see his fans’ reaction on his never seen before avatar.
