Rubina Dilaik Has A Savage Take On Being Labelled As ‘Reality Star’: ‘I Think That Tag Always Comes Along, They Cannot Burden You’

Rubina Dilaik is one of the most loved celebrities in our country. She entered the industry with daily soap and became a household name. Dilaik participated in Bigg Boss 14 and emerged as a winner.
She is also one of the top five contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. And now she will be seen showing her dance moves in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. In a recent interview, she spoke about being typecasted and tagged as a reality star.
In a recent interaction with Times Now, Rubina Dilaik spoke about being tagged as an artist like a daily soap actor or a reality star as she has done three reality shows back to back. She mentioned all these tags don't affect her. She was quoted saying, “I was doing daily soaps until 2016, nobody said daily soap (tag), so I think that tag always comes along and that's okay. The tags cannot burden you, they cannot put down the enthusiasm you have towards your work, and that surely isn't my bone of contention.”
The Bigg Boss 14 winner further added on taking up projects irrespective of reality shows or daily soaps. Rubina mentioned that she is always prepared for all the opportunities that come along. The ‘Chiti Bahu’ actress was quoted saying, “I have always worked towards preparing myself for any opportunity that might come, so be it a reality show or daily soap, my commitment towards my work has been constant, that is the only constant thing that I have, and the sincerity and the enthusiasm I have for any project I do. There have been many changes, there have been changes for good, bad as well, but that thing that remains the same is my passion and enthusiasm.”
The ‘Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ actress even told that the person she is today is because of the chives she made in her life. She added, “when I look back and connect the dots, where I am today, is the ultimate choices I have made all along my journey in my career, and those choices were the defining moments, because you are a result of the choices you make in life. And any of the projects I have reached or the platforms I have reached, is because of the prep and the choices. I would say I am content but yet not complacent with the choices I have made, but I continue to work further.”
Talking about the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, apart from Rubina, Nia Sharma, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shilpa Shinde, Paras Kalnawat, Rubina Dilaik, Amruta Khanvilkar, Niti Taylor, Gashmeer Mahajani, Ali Asgar, and Faisal Shaikh are the contestants of the show. The show will air on Colors TV from today September 3, 2022.
