Rubina Dilaik On Quitting Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, ‘There’s No Truth To It. I Love My Show’- EXCLUSIVE
As speculations of Rubina Dilaik quitting the show Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki grew thick and fast, we asked the actress and she cleared the air that there's not truth to these rumours
There have been reports of Rubina Dilaik quitting Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki since morning. According to an entertainment portal, after Vivian D'sena exited the show, (he didn't want to play father onscreen) his co-star Rubina is following into his footsteps and soon might exit the show. So, the makers are planning to take a leap around November after which the story-line will focus on Harman's daughter who is also a transgender and the hunt is on for a grown-up kid. Hence, reports flew around that since Rubina doesn't want to turn mother on screen, she decided on quitting the show.
This news definitely came as a shock to us, so we decided to speak to the actress. But Rubina called it just a rumour and added, "Since morning I have attended almost 6-7 calls negating the fact that it's an absolute rumour. It has no truth to it. I really love my show and my character. And I am not thinking of leaving, quitting or bidding an adieu to the show because my heart and soul lies here. So, anything of that sort whatever comes up, definitely everybody would know it. But, as of now I am really enjoying what I am doing. So I think it's a rumour from a reliable source who really does not know the facts about it".
Rubina's character of Saumya (a transgender) is being loved by the audience. And it seems the actress is in no mood to make her audience sad by exiting the show.
