Ruhana Khanna to make a comeback in Ganga

Ruhana Khanna, who played little Ganga in the eponymous TV show, is all set to make a comeback in it. Interestingly, she will return as her own daughter.
Confused? Well, she’ll be seen as the grown-up Ganga’s (Aditi Sharma) daughter when the show takes a time-leap.

Says a source, “Ruhana is extremely popular. Our ratings were very high when the show had just started .The public still identifies Ruhana as Ganga and hence, the decision to bring her back.”
There’s also another reason. The source adds, “Ruhana has already signed a contract with the channel for a certain period. It makes more sense to use her in her own show rather than start a new one.”

Actor Hiten Tejwani, who plays Ganga’s foster father in the show, confirmed the news. Says he, “Yes, a time leap is on the cards, and there is a possibility of Ruhana coming back as Ganga’s daughter.”
Early this year too, Ruhana had made a brief reappearance in the show, owing to her immense popularity. Back then, she had appeared in some flashback sequences of Ganga’s childhood.
Now that she will return to the show as a different character, let’s see which role the audiences will love her more in -- as Ganga or as Ganga’s daughter.
Ruhana began her career as a model at the age of 4. She has modelled for various products, including Rasna, Colgate, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank.
