Rupali Ganguly Gets Mercilessly TROLLED For Insulting A Female Doctor; Enraged Netizens Say, ‘Her Language Shows Her Class’
Television actress Rupali Ganguly became a household name after she portrayed the role of Monesha Sarabhai in the popular television serial ‘Sarabhai VS Sarabhai’. After going on maternity leave after the birth of her son, she made her much-awaited comeback with Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa. Ever since the release of the show, fans have been glued to their TV screens whenever it airs. However, now that the makers of the show are dragging out the story, many have started expressing the same on social media. Rupali recently spoke up about it during an interview. 

The 46-year-old actress found herself in the midst of controversy after she reportedly looked down on a gynaecologist for criticising her character on the show. It is to be noted that Anupamaa’s mannerisms and doormat behaviour have been a trending topic of discussion on the internet for a long time. In an interaction with CNBC, when asked about her reaction to people trolling her and her character, she laughed it off. She went on to explain that the netizens troll her a lot and many of them are women. She went on to add, “Aree bahut troll karte hai and sadly it is the women only who troll. 'Auraton ko itna vella time kaha se hai?' Koi ek doctor hai, 'Bloody some gynac,' wo gaali deti rehti hai. Kyun tere pas patient nahi hai bhai? As soon as the video of the same went viral on social media, enraged netizens took to the comment section of the tweet to troll her further. Some called her out for using demeaning language towards women who watch her show, others mocked her for not being able to take criticism openly like her co-star Gaurav Khanna does. One wrote, “With success comes the responsibility to speak in public, sorry to say but her language shows her class.”









Rupali Ganguly is yet to address the criticism.
