Being one of the highest paid actresses on Indian television, Rupali Ganguly enjoys a huge social media following. Her show Anupamaa has become one of the most watched serials in the country as it tops the weekly BARC ratings ever since it was released in 2020. It was in 2022, when one of her famous dialogues ‘aapko kya’ had taken over the internet and almost everyone used the audio to make an Instagram reel of their own.

Joining the bandwagon, even Bollywood actresses Vidya Balan and Janhvi Kapoor had made a video on the trending audio. Now, in a recent interview with Hindustan times, Rupali expressed her gratitude, knowing her show is not only receiving love from the audience but also the big stars. Not only did she thank the celebrities for recreating her videos but she also went on to credit the writers. Quoted by DNA, she said, “I'm thankful to all these phenomenal names and actors who are recreating the reels. And the credit for that line probably would go to the writer. Sab kuch ek sath mein hota hai tab jaa ke koi cheez popular hoti hai.” When Vidya had shared her reel, the 46-year-old actress had taken to the comment section of the post. For the unversed, having starred in shows like Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, the actress had taken a hiatus after she married her longtime boyfriend Ashwin Verma in 2013. The couple welcomed their son Rudransh in 2015. She made her much awaited comeback on television with Anupamaa which also stars Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey, Chhavi Pandey and Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty among many others.
