Since March, the novel Coronavirus has made the environment an inhospitable space for everyone. The virus is not only fatal and affecting the human race but also affecting the economy. From sports events to fashion events, everything was postponed indefinitely. However, after 4 months of lockdown, the government has effectively started Unlock 1 and 2 and have given permission to shoot. With this, many shows have resumed shooting in full swing but also following the required protocols. Having said that, the latest developments suggest that the maker of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Kannada will also resume shooting but without an audience.
For the first time in the history of the reality show, the makers of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Kannada will begin shooting without an audience, as reported by The Times Of India. TOI quoted Business head of the channel, Raghavendra Hunsur, "While everything on set is pretty much as it used to be, this time around, there will be no audiences to watch the proceeding and cheer the contestants on. It is a first in the history of the show, but times are such that we had to take this decision.”
The report also suggests that Hamsalekha, Vijay Prakash, Rajesh Krishnan, Arjun Janya and host Anushree have also gone through thermal screening on the sets before the shoot. Apart from that, the team will be shooting with only 50 crew members on the sets sans audience. That’s not it, they have resumed shooting for the show after completing mandatory 14-day quarantine. Reportedly, all the contestants from other cities have been provided accommodation in Bengaluru.
