TV show Saath Nibhana Sathiya’s Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben’s ‘Rasode Mein Kaun Tha’ dialogue garnered a huge fan base after music creator Yashraj Mukhate made a rap video adding some tunes and beats to the dialogue. The rap video was viral on social media and soon later, the makers of the show Saath Nibhana Saathiya announced a new season. Now, as the makers of the TV show release Saath Nibhaana Sathiya 2 promo featuring Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu, the rap video creator Yashraj Mukhate talks about it and shares interesting details on his next project.
Speaking to Pinkvilla.com, when questioned about what are his thoughts on the season 2 being announced immediately after his ‘Rasode mein kaun tha’ rap video was viral, Yashraj reacted and said, “I was also shocked to see that, they are very smart people (laughs). They saw that the clip has struck a chord and immediately they announced the second season and I am sure the second season will do as good as the first one."
When asked about his next projects, Yashraj Mukhate mentioned that he is planning to make a rap video on the longest-running show on TV, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Sharing some details, he said, “I am going to do something on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah now, all the characters have a certain way of speaking which is very rhythmic in its own way.” As Mukhate opened up about his next project, reiterating that his life changed a lot in the past week, the rap video creator said, “It has changed a lot, I have been talking so much for the last one week. Earlier, I used to be in our studio and working but now for the last one week, I have been talking about my work, my process, it is great. My friends, family have been congratulating me, calling me to say my video has gone viral."
Moving on, the ‘Rasode mein kaun tha’ rap video creator opened up about how he stumbled upon the video from Saath Nibhana Saathiya. Talking about it, Mukhate said that as he keeps scrolling videos on social media and saves whatever he finds interesting, it was when he was in his studio that he found the video from the show in his saved data. He mentioned that at first, he found the video from the show very funny, but when he saw it on some meme page, the idea of adding beats to it cropped up in his mind. Speaking of the viral video, Yashraj said that as the character was familiar to everyone, it was trending on social media. Yashraj also shared that he got aware of the show when he came across a meme of Gopi Bahu washing the laptop with water earlier.
Meanwhile, as Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben mentioned about speaking to Yashraj Mukhate after the viral video, talking about that experience, the rap video creator said that talking to the actress was amazing and mentioned how she credited him for his good work and also congratulated him. Yashraj then continued to mention that the rap video is mostly amusing because of Kokilaben’s dialogue delivery and performance rather and mentioned he said this to even her.
