Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal make up for the cutest couple of the Television industry. The two tied the knot in 2016 and had a beautiful beach wedding. The pictures from their beach wedding were dreamy like a fairy tale and we sort of got a little jealous looking at how beautiful the bride and groom looked on their special day. Now, after four years of her marriage, Sanaya has opened up on what took them so long to settle in a matrimony.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, she stated that they initially wanted to have a court marriage as there is too much planning involved in organising a big event. She was quoted saying, "Honestly, first, we thought of doing a court marriage because it is a lot of stress to even plan the marriage. For the longest time, we did not get married because of this, and then our parents asked us why are we not getting married. So, then we decided, let's just get married. So, the plan was to keep it simple and have a court marriage and save money and time but the Mohit was very sweet about it and wanted to fulfill my dream."

Eventually they ended up having a big fat wedding at the beach. She revealed that she is a water baby and always wanted to have a small wedding by the beach, however, as Mohit is a Punjabi, they ended up having an extravagant wedding by the beach amidst a lot of people.
