Saroj Khan Passes Away: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Madhvi And Komal Recall Their Shooting Experience With Masterji- EXCLUSIVE
Saroj Khan left for her heavenly abode, late last night, as she suffered a cardiac arrest. Saroj, popular as Masterji in the industry, has trained many big artistes and also given some unforgettable numbers to the industry.

Amongst many who have got the opportunity to learn from Saroj Khan, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma's team was also one of them.

We spoke to starcast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as they had the opportunity to shoot with the ace choreographer during a special episode, 6 years back when Saroj khan had turned judge for them.

Sharing their experiences, Sonalika Joshi who essays character of Madhvi Aatmaram Bhide and Ambika Ranjankar who plays Komal Hathi had something memorable to share.

Talking to us exclusively, Sonalika said, "I am a big fan of Madhuri Dixit and her dancing. And every move she has is because of Sarojji as she was her Guru. So, when we got to know that she is coming for the episode and we have to perform in front of her, we literally had butterflies in our stomach. We had hardly reharsed, usually also when we have any dance shoot for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we practice only one day in advance. As the performance should look natural as per our characters. I remember me and Madar performed on Govinda and Raveena Tandon's song Kisi Disco Mein Jaaye and we had goosebumps. But she liked it and the comments which she gave were original and not scripted. Only for Dayaben (Disha Vakani) as it was about her Garba, she was herself while shooting the whole episode except the humorous line all the comments and compliments she gave were natural. And I feel blessed to have an opportunity to dance in front of a legend."

She added, "Though we didn't get much time to speak with her as it was a one day shoot and most of it was shot in the night. It's really sad that she is not with us."

Whereas Ambika revealed, "Being such a well-known personality in the Industry, she met us with so much love and warmth that I never felt like I am meeting her for the first time. She didn't show us any seniority while shooting. It was fate to meet her in this lifetime.

She added, "We had performed in front of her and of course it was difficult but the moment she kept her hands on us as Guru, everything seemed so comfortable. Guru ke aashirwad ke baad kisi chiz ka dar nahi tha."
