Savdhaan India: Sushant Singh Is Back In The Game, Actor Resumes Hosting Duties
Sushant Singh, who had been replaced with Tisca Chopra and Ashutosh Rana on Savdhaan India, will return as the host of the crime based show.
For all those who’ve been waiting to see Sushant Singh hosting crime based reality show Savdhaan India again will be overjoyed after hearing this news. The actor is all set to return as a host in the show, Yes, you heard that right! Sushant, who was earlier replaced with Tisca Chopra and Ashutosh Rana is back on to track.
Confirming the same to Bombay Times, Sushant said, “Sushant told us, “When I was replaced, I felt that my journey on the show was over. It was a bit difficult for me to accept it and move on. However, now that I have resumed shooting for it again, I feel that I am back home.” When asked about if he is indispensable on the show, he told BT, “I don’t know if we can use the word ‘indispensable’, but yes, over seven years, I guess I have become the face of the show. There was a huge connect with the audience across the country. Now that I am back, I hope to put my best foot forward. While I was anchoring Savdhaan India, many people thought that I was busy and would refuse acting offers, which was not true. Apart from hosting it, I want to explore other options, and am open to doing films and fiction shows. However, I do believe that the fiction genre needs to grow a lot more on the small screen,” Sushant shared.
When Tisca Chopra and Ashutosh Rana were approached to comment on the same they said that their shoot and contract with the show was over and bother were are not aware of the developments.
Tisca even said that she doesn’t ‘want to get into any controversies. It was anyways a short-term stint that I agreed to do.’
