It’s baby shower time! Telly couples Shaheer Sheikh-Ruchikaa Kapoor and Rajeev Sen-Charu Asopa are both expecting their first child. The two couples recently held a baby shower whose pictures are going viral on social media. Speaking about Shaheer and Ruchikaa, a few pictures and videos of their baby shower, held on Monday, have been circulated on social media. In the pictures, we see a heavily pregnant Ruchikaa sitting in a chair with her husband Shaheer sitting next to her. A customised light instalment with the words 'baby Sheikh' was also placed at the party.
In one video, we also see Kapoor cutting a customised cake and then feeding it to her husband. The two are beaming with happiness and we can’t wait to hear the happy news. Everything about Shaheer and Ruchikaa has always been a secret. The two got married in a hush-hush wedding, while in May, it was reported that the couple is expecting their first child. However, the actor and his wife did not release an official statement and have been tight-lipped about the news.
Well, at least we were treated with their baby shower and we feel blessed. Shaheer and Ruchikaa had a court marriage in December 2020.
Speaking about Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen, even they hosted a baby shower party on Sunday with the latter's sister Sushmita Sen attending the function. In the pictures, clad in a red-yellow saree, Charu looks radiant with a pregnancy glow while Rajeev looks extremely happy. We also see Sush blessing the couple with utmost happiness.
Sharing a few pictures on her Instagram, Charu wrote, “Having a baby is like falling in love again, both with your husband and your child. #babyshowerpictures”.
Charu Asopa and Rajeev got married in June 2019. Their marriage hit a rough patch during the lockdown when he flew to Delhi, leaving his wife in Mumbai. They openly spoke about their fallout but then they rekindled their love. Now, the two are expecting their first child together.
