Another shocking news from the world of entertainment has hit us like a bolt from the blue. 44-year-old actor Sameer Sharma who was part of Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma starrer, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, has died by suicide.
Another shocking news from the world of entertainment has hit us like a bolt from the blue. 44-year-old actor Sameer Sharma who was part of Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma starrer Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has died by suicide. As per a report in MidDay, the actor was found hanging on Wednesday night at his home in Malad West. He was found hanging from the kitchen ceiling.
The report further suggests that according to Malad police, Sameer had rented the apartment in February this year. While on a round during night duty, the watchman of the society saw Sameer's mortal remains and alerted the society members. Looking at the condition of the remains, the police suspects that the actor died two days back. “No suicide note was recovered at the spot. A case of accidental death has been registered and Sameer's mortal remains have been sent for autopsy," said senior inspector George Fernandez, Malad police station.
The actor was currently essaying character of Shaurya Maheshwari, father to one of the main leads - Kaveri Priyam, in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.
