Shark Tank India 2: Rahul Dua REPLACES Rannvijay Singh As The Host; Disappointed Fans Say, 'Ye Sabb Doglapan He'

Ever since the announcement of the second season of Shark Tank India, audiences are excitingly waiting for its release. However, fans were in for a shock when the makers announced that CarDekho’s co-owner Amit Jain will be replacing BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover. On Monday, they announced that comedian Rahul Dua will be replacing Rannvijay Singh as the host for the second season, leaving fans broken-hearted.

Taking to their official Instagram handle, the channel wrote, “Welcome host Rahul Dua! This season, he’s here to offer you 100% equity in fun! Watch #SharkTankIndia season 2 from 2nd Jan, 10 pm on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television.” The announcement has left the fans divide, while many are demanding justice, others are can’t wait to watch the comedian as a host. Netizens bashed the show for changing their host after replacing Grover. One fan demanded, “Where is Ranvijay & Ashneer Sir ? WIL BE FLOP.” Another wrote, “sharam nhi aayi.. rahul bhai ranvijay ke pet me laat marne me.” Another said, “Ye sabb doglapan he. Jaldise jaldi show chalu karo.” Other wrote, “Ranvijay bhai rona nhi wase bhi upgrade ka hi promotion karne ke liye rakha tha.”

For the unversed, the show is the Indian franchise of the American show of the same name, where known entrepreneurs listen to different business ideas and decide whether or not they want to invest in those ideas. This season, will see Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boat), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder & CEO of Lenskart.com) and Amit Jain (Co-Founder of CarDekho) as the sharks.
