In 2022, Sheezan Khan faced a harrowing period amidst the Tunisha Sharma suicide case, where he was charged with abetment of suicide. Tunisha Sharma, his co-star from Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul, tragically took her own life, with Sheezan being accused as the catalyst. On Siddharth Kannan's chat show, Sheezan disclosed that his father left his mother when he was around 6 or 8 years old, leading to a lack of emotional connection as they never lived together. Reflecting on the lack of support during the legal case, Sheezan shared that he wasn't bothered about the world's concern when even his own father didn't show up for him. He revealed his father resides in Rajasthan with his first wife and children. In contrast, he praised his mother as a constant pillar of support who diligently fulfilled every duty.

Following Tunishaa Sharma's tragic passing, it came to light that she was deeply enamored with Sheezan Khan. An FIR was filed by Tunisha's mother against Sheezan, accusing him of being responsible for her daughter's suicide. Allegations included Sheezan's purported infidelity causing significant mental distress to Tunisha during their relationship. Additionally, Tunisha's mother claimed that Sheezan's family compelled her to adopt their religious beliefs. In defense, Ali Baba actor's family countered that Tunisha had a strained relationship with her mother. 




Moreover, Sheezan's sister, Falaq Naaz, revealed that Tunisha was diagnosed with depression at 16 and had a troubled relationship with her mother. Falaq asserted that Tunisha found joy when in the company of Sheezan or their family. The incident had a bad impact of the television star's life
