Yesterday, the news of Bigg boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santokh Singh aka Sukh Pradhan being booked by Punjab Police following rape charges took everyone by shock. According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, Santokh allegedly raped the victim in his car at gunpoint. Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaaz spoke to SpotboyE regarding this, and claimed that these were all false allegations. Now, Santokh Singh has responded to these allegations in an interview with a local news channel, and stated that the woman is trying to defame him by making such allegations.

BollywoodLife quoted Santokh Singh saying to the local news channel that he was home the entire day when the lady alleged the incident took place. He said that there was sufficient proof to back this, as his home is covered by CCTV.  Further, in videos shared on Twitter, Santokh Singh can be heard saying that a man called Lucky Sandhu was like a family member, and the lady who accused Santokh of these charges, knew Lucky. Lucky had come to Santokh and told him he had a fight with the woman and he doesn’t want to stay in touch with her. So when the lady called to ask Santokh about Lucky’s whereabouts, and he said he didn’t know.

He said, “Uss lady ka phone aaya aur usne poocha ki Lucky aapke paas aaya toh maine kaha nahi. Itne time se woh lady Humesha mujhe brother kehti thi. Aur aise ilzaam lagana kaha ki baat hai.” Here are videos of his clarification. Take a look:


Meanwhile, speaking to SpotboyE, Santokh Singh’s son Shehbaaz said, “Yes, there has been a case registered with the Punjab Police but these are completely false allegations. The lady in question is trying to defame my father. We are surely disturbed at the moment but we also know nothing is going to happen as we have enough proof that the lady is lying. The mentioned place where the incident according to her happened is under CCTV surveillance and we have arranged for recording of it.”
