While there are many shows that will be launched this year, there are few that might bid adieu by the first half of 2022 due to low TRPs. Yes, you read that right. Shockingly, Ekta Kapoor’s popular TV show 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2' and 'Tera Mera Saath Rahe' and also come on this list.
According to the latest report in Bollywoodlife.com, Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar starrer Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, Giaa Manek’s Tera Mera Saath Rahe, Aggar Tum Na Hote, Paridhi Sharma led Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei, Nima Denzongpa, Shark Tank India and Ssharad Malhotra’s Vidrohi might end this year due to constant low TRPs.
Talking about ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’, the show started with a bang but it reportedly failed to make its place in audience hearts and of course on TRP charts. While people love the chemistry of Ram Kapoor and Priya, the show seems to have failed in striking a chord with its viewers. The low TRPs made the makers bring in some surprising twists. However, the TRPs are still low. The show needs to pick up to be sustainable for the channel.
And, the other mentioned shows too have failed to strike a chord. It would be interesting to see what makers of these shows would do in order to increase their TRPs. Some shocking twists or content-driven scripts may do some magic in contributing their long run on TV.
