Television actress Chandrika Saha became a household name for her work in shows like Adaalat, CID and Savdhaan India: Crime Alert. She recently filed a complaint against her 21-year-old husband Aman Mishra for banging their 15-month-old son against the floor three times. According to the report by India.com, he wasn’t happy with the birth of their son. In her complaint she revealed that she had found her toddler crying in his room with injury marks. He has now been admitted to a private hospital in Malad (West) and is in a stable condition.
As per her complaint, on Friday Chandrika was in the kitchen when she heard her baby crying. Preoccupied, she asked her husband to go check-up on the baby, who proceeded to take him to the infant’s room. After a few minutes she heard her son cry again and then heard a loud thud.
When she got to the room, she saw her son lying on the floor and instantly rushed him to the hospital. It is being reported that, upon checking the CCTV footage of her baby’s room, she found out that Mishra had banged their toddler on the floor thrice.
The 40-year-old actress then approached the police with the CCTV recordings of assault and lodged a complaint. Saha told the police that she was a divorcee when she met Aman, a share trader in 2020. She found out she was pregnant during their affair. While he was adamant on her getting an abortion, the doctor advised her against it. They both got hitched last month, after their son had turned 14-months-old.
