Bhojpuri actress Rani Chatterjee who made her TV debut with show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 recently called out a man for trolling and harassment on social media. The actress revealed through a social media post that she once suffered depression due to the online harassment. In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com, after sharing the post, Rani revealed that the reason behind her post was to let people know the reason if she ever tried to take her life by suicide. Now, the Bhojpuri actress shares how there was once a time when she looked for ways to kill herself due to harassment.
In an interview with ETimes, Rani Chatterjee mentioned that she was going through a horrible time when the man trolled her constantly on social media. She said, “I was going through such a horrible time.” The Bhojpuri actress continued to mention how she would not feel like eating and said, “I would not feel like eating, I used to be awake all night thinking about this.” Talking about other stress in life, Rani Chatterjee mentioned that she did not have any other tensions in her life apart from the man harassing her.
Speaking about the tension due to the online trolling, Rani Chatterjee said, “I don't have any other tension, the stress in my life other than this. I had given up on everything and was not bothered about anything anymore. I told myself whatever will happen, I will bear it, but enough is enough.” Moving on, the Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 fame revealed she was frustrated and looked for ways to kill herself. She said, “I was frustrated. I was looking at ways to kill myself. Maine pankhe aur zameen ke beech ka distance naap liya tha,” revealing how she had suicidal thoughts and added, “It's simple if a girl is regularly called fat, ugly, kaali, buddhi, she will lose her cool and react.”
Meanwhile, Rani Chatterjee accused a 60-year-old man of her depression and called him out in a social media post. The actress shared that the man named Dhananjai Singh was constantly making derogatory comments over her body and mentioned that Mumbai Police’s cyber cell is currently looking into the matter.
