Lock Upp's Azma Fallah revealed she duped people of Rs 40-50 lakh by befriending them on social media
Azma Fallah entered as a wildcard contestant in Kangana Ranaut's show Lock Upp. Since then, she has been making headlines for multiple reasons. In the recent episode, Azma shared that she had duped strangers while working for a social media app. Her work required her to befriend people and entertain them with her chats. Azma made this shocking revelation when she was asked by the show host to reveal a secret and save herself from eviction.
She shared, "I worked on a social media app jaha pe maine strangers se paise loote about 40-50 lakhs, woh mujhe cut ho k milta tha. All I had to do was to befriend people. You know, there are people who are looking for friends and these people are rich, very rich." She added, "So, I would lie to those people and dupe them of money. Meri family ki condition acchi nahi thi aur meri aunty ko cancer bhi tha. To, main kuch bhi jhooth bolke paise leti thi. Kabhi kabhi sach bhi bolti thi. My parents are also diabetic and I want them to get treated in the best of hospitals. I am also supporting my Nani whose mental health is not good."
Azma went to say that she was the only earning member of the family. She said, "You could send gifts from that app and those would be converted into money." After listening to her secret, Kangana asked her if her job was similar to what was shown in an Ekta Kapoor film but she didn't respond. Ayushmann Khurrana essayed the role of a tele-caller in Dream Girl. The actress added, "I hope no one judges you for this, inside the show or outside."
