TV actor Raj Anadkat, who essayed the role of Tipendra 'Tapu' Jethalal Gada in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has quit the popular comedy show. Yes, you read that right! Raj took to his Instagram handle to announce he has ended his association with the serial after 5 long years. He shared a statement where he expressed his gratitude to fans and the entire team of TMKOC. Raj called the show a wonderful journey of learning, making friends, and having some of the best years of his career.
Raj Anadkat, on Tuesday, posted a lengthy statement confirming his exit from TMKOC. His note read, “Hello Everyone, It's time to lay all questions and speculation to rest. My association with Neela Film Productions and Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma has officially ended. It has been a wonderful journey of learning, making friends and having some of the best years of my career. I would like to thank everyone who supported me in this journey - The entire team of TMKOC, my friends, family and of course all of you (red heart emoji). Raj Anadkat concluded the note by saying he wish the team of TMKOC all the very best for the future of the show. He will be back to entertain fans very soon. Reportedly, the actor took the decision to leave the show because he was not happy with the way his character was shaping up in the comedy sitcom. Raj also wanted to explore different genres.
