Popular TV actress Vaishali Takkar has committed suicide at her Indore residence
Popular TV actress Vaishali Takkar passed away on Sunday. As per reports, she committed suicide at her residence in Indore. On reaching, Police found a suicide note near her dead body and cops are investigating her death case. The reason behind her suicide is said to be a love affair of the actress. Further details are awaited. Vaishali’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves across the entire TV industry with celebs mourning her untimely death.
Vaishali started her career with Rajan Shahi’s popular daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she played the role of Sanjana Singh aka Sanju. Takkar had also been featured in several other TV shows like ‘Yeh Vaada Raha’, ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ ‘Vrinda’ and ‘Sasural Simar Ka.’ She was last seen in ‘Rakshabandhan’ opposite Nishant Malkani. The late actress was living in Indore for the past year.
She was also very active on her Instagram handle and often used to share her videos and photos. A few days before her suicide, she had posted a video where she could be seen lip-syncing to a Hindi song.
Last year, Vaishali Takkar made headlines after she canceled her wedding with her fiance Abhinandan Singh due to Covid 19 pandemic. In an interview with ETimes, she had said, “I postponed the wedding because of the current situation. I did not feel like celebrating in such a scenario when people are dying, suffering everyday. I don't feel like starting a new life this year. I have cancelled the wedding this year and I am not getting married this year.”
