Shweta Tiwari REVEALS How She Learned Smoking From Daughter Palak Tiwari's Friend For THIS Reason
Shweta Tiwari, a well-known figure in the Indian television industry, has left an indelible mark on the hearts of audiences with her portrayal of the beloved character 'Prerna' in the iconic TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Her success story is a true reflection of her dedication, perseverance, and undeniable talent in the entertainment world. Beyond her professional achievements, Shweta's role as a single mother to two children, Palak and Reyansh, stands out as a significant part of her life. Balancing her demanding career with motherhood, she has raised her children with care and love, with her daughter Palak now following in her footsteps and making her own mark in the industry. Palak has already gained recognition through her performance in the popular music video Bijlee Bijlee and her acting debut in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. ALSO READ: Shweta Tiwari Reveals Daughter Palak Tiwari Learnt To Be Strong Watching Her Abusive Marriages; Says, ‘She Has Understood That Nobody Is Going To Help You’

In a recent interview with Gallata India, Shweta shared a humorous anecdote that highlighted her cool and composed personality. She revealed that despite never having smoked in her life, she needed to learn the habit for a role. To do so, her daughter Palak contacted a friend who smoked and humorously told him, "Aja meri maa ko smoking sikhna hai," meaning "Come over, my mom needs to learn how to smoke." Initially nervous, the friend eventually agreed to help and came to their home. When he suggested stepping outside to teach Shweta, she preferred to learn indoors to avoid being seen by others. The friend proceeded to teach her, but the smell of smoke reached Shweta’s mother, leading to a surprising confrontation. Shweta explained the situation to her mother, who was shocked but did not press the matter further, turning what could have been a tense moment into a light-hearted incident.

Shweta also shared an interesting experience related to her daughter Palak’s budding career. Palak was filming for Sanjay Dutt’s movie The Virgin Tree and has a habit of requesting her directors to let her show her shots to her mother for feedback. Shweta recounted that after Palak performed a scene that earned applause from everyone on set, she still requested permission to send a recording of it to her mother for review. This gesture reflects the strong bond and trust between the mother-daughter duo, with Palak valuing her mother’s guidance and insight.

In the same interview, Shweta was asked about the frequent dating rumours surrounding Palak. Shweta responded by saying that Palak is a strong and resilient young woman who takes these rumours in stride, often laughing them off. However, Shweta also expressed concern that such rumours could potentially affect Palak’s confidence in the future. While Palak handles the rumours with humour for now, Shweta worries about the possible impact of continuous speculation on her daughter’s well-being, acknowledging that the situation could become overwhelming for anyone, especially someone as young as Palak. This candid insight into their personal lives reveals Shweta’s protective nature as a mother, always mindful of her daughter’s emotional health despite the pressures of the entertainment industry.
