Sidharth Shukla Calls The Controversy Around VIRAL CLIP Of His Clash With Goons Really Sad; Says, ‘Leaves A Bitter Feeling In The Heart’
Sidharth Shukla reacts to the viral clip of his fight with goons on his birthday and says how fake news made him feel ‘really sad’
Not very long ago, on Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla’s birthday, a video of his clash with some unidentified people had made it to the internet. It was being alleged that the actor was involved in a case of drunk driving; however, the truth was soon out. Well, it turned out that those were goons that harassed his brother-in-law’s staff members in Versova. Now, in an interview with Times of India, Shukla has revealed how all the fake news surrounding his clash with the goons has left him disappointed but it didn’t spoil his birthday eve, as all his fans made it a bit too special for him.
The BB13 star said, “Whatever happened is all out there; I think there have been a couple of video clips of the incident that people have seen. I just have one thing to say that with the online space being so vast, some of these platforms are really starved for news. Somebody said that I was drunk and that was the headline put out without any verification. It’s really sad that you have gone out to help someone and they make you out to be the wrong one. Of course, major part of the media got it right.”
He continued, “They went on to see the videos the following day and put out correct information. It’s not like a person needs validation or recognition when he happens to do something good or he helps someone, but when it’s turned around and the person is accused of something, it leaves a bitter feeling in the heart. But I guess that’s life, so it’s okay.”
A source, which was present at the time of the incident, had informed us, “Sidharth’s brother-in-law received a call from his staff regarding some goons at wee hours of the morning, and that's why Shukla with his brother-in-law went to check on what was happening. When the two spotted it and tried to stop them, the men, who had knives in their hands, tried to threaten them. Sidharth and his brother-in-law somehow managed to take them to a local police station and the men are behind bars now."
