The entire film fraternity is still mourning the untimely death of actor Sidharth Shukla. His last rites will be performed today i.e., Friday. The preparations for the funeral have begun; an ambulance that will carry the mortal remains of the late actor has been decorated with flowers, outside the Cooper hospital. Many of his friends from the industry have arrived at the funeral to pay their final respects. According to a report in ABP news, the last rites of Sidharth will be performed with Brahma Kumaris rituals.
The report also stated that the body of Siddharth Shukla will be taken home from Cooper Hospital. At home, 4 people associated with Brahma Kumaris will recite worship according to their customs.
Tapaswini Ben from Brahmakumaris said, “He will be taken home from Cooper Hospital at 11 am and we will be meditating first and then other rituals will be done. Siddharth followed the Brahamkumari and studied the daily discourse so his last journey will have all of it.” Sidharth’s mother also is a Brahmakumari follower. When asked how she is coping up after the sudden demise of her son, Tapaswiniji stated, “It is a shock for his mother but our study and teachings help people stay strong.”
Celebrities including, Aly Goni, Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai, Vikas Gupta, Arti Singh, Dalljiet Kaur, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parma among others have arrived at the late actor's residence for the funeral.
Sidharth Shukla, best known for his stint in shows like ‘Balika Vadhu’, ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ and ‘Bigg Boss 13’, died due to a heart attack on Thursday morning. He is survived by his mother and two sisters. A Cooper Hospital spokesperson said that the actor was "brought dead" in the morning.
