Sidharth Shukla's sudden demise has shook the entire country. The actor passed away yesterday, after suffering a cardiac arrest. Since then, his fans, family, industry friends have been expressing their disbelief about the unfortunate news. Devoleena Bhattacharjee is also extremely shocked with his passing away. She was Sidharth's co-contestant in Bigg Boss 13.
Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, Devoleena Bhattacharjee who has still not come to terms about losing her friend, Sidharth Shukla, said, "I got up and was randomly checking Twitter and came across this news. I felt maybe some nasty fan club war is circulating this rumour. Later, I got a call from a friend who informed me that it's not a rumour and Sidharth is actually no more. I was numb. I had no idea what's next. I'm still confused how can life ditch us like this." Recalling the time she spent with Sidharth in Bigg Boss 13 house, Devoleena said, "I still remember meeting him in the Bigg Boss house. We had our share of love, fun and fights. People tried to influence him and create fight between us all the while but he was a kind man to understand me. He did not go away, he was a true gentleman. He used to sing and make me blush. Now all those moments today are giving me goosebumps. I'm still like was this real. Life is so short." Sidharth's death has changed the actress to an extent that she, who used to give back like a boss to social media trollers, now wants to stay away from it. "I'm a changed person now after this. I swear not to fight with anyone. In fact, I will stay away from all the social media trolls n wars. I just seek positivity in my life from now onwards," said Devoleena.
Talking about when was the last time she spoke to Sidharth, Devoleena said, "It had been long time but yes, occasionally we used to have our Hi-Hello chats. He used to check on me often. He was a sweet friend. I will surely miss him a lot."
